Our latest project is situated on the edge of the settlement boundary in the village of Horndean. It has been derived from us bringing two adjoining landowners together and promoting the application from pre application meetings to a full application within a 5 month timeframe.
Our proposals at Horndean have evolved by working alongside our partners BHP Harwood Architects and closely with local planning officers, resulting in the creation of a rural barn style courtyard setting, set behind a traditional farmhouse bordering the village edge - familiar within the Hampshire countryside.
The scheme although traditional in form and detail, provides modern family houses featuring open plan internal layouts. It delivers a wealth of sustainable, energy efficient features alongside new landscaping encouraging greater ecological diversity.
We are really excited at the prospect of building such a landmark site and are currently waiting for the application to complete the planning consultation process.
